What we can do for your radio station.

Recent projects.

Finding a channel.

Our proprietary software searches a radius around the target radio coverage location displaying all locations where a new signal could originate on frequencies 88.1 to 91.9 FM. Our software returns a list of potential tower sites with owner contact information. Cost: $250.

Planning.

Once a potential channel is determined, we will map the maximum coverage possible from a selected site and calculate the population coverage. We will assist in obtaining the required “site assurance” from the tower owner.

Application preparation.

We will produce all required technical exhibits including coverage contour maps and exhibits demonstrating compliance with FCC rules 73.509, 73.207, 73.515, and 73.215 (if necessary), compliant spacing with respect to Canadian and Mexican stations, interference protection to any affected TV-6 stations, and required RF environmental exhibit. We will produce exhibits supporting Section 307(b) (“Fair Distribution of Service Analysis”) and technical showings for comparative criteria (“point system/tie-breakers) for MX situations. Cost: $2,250.

File with the FCC before November 9th.

We will prepare all of the technical portion of the application for your broadcast attorney to file with the FCC during the window. If you do not use the services of an attorney, we will assist the required filing of the application with through the FCC LMS system during the November filing window.

Follow-up.

After the close of the filing window, we will assist in checking the status of the application and determining if there are any conflicts with competing applications filed by other parties. If necessary will will provide options to resolve conflicts to best meet your goals.

Construction.

If your application for a new station is selected by the FCC and granted a construction permit, we will provide options for construction and referrals and serve as a liaison with equipment vendors, tower owners, and contractors to assist in the expeditious construction of the new radio station.
